Camp Geronimo

Camp Geronimo’s main program is a classic Scout Camp experience based on the BSA merit badge system. Campers choose from over 40 merit badges to build their own schedule. They also get to experience an exciting and dynamic afternoon open program!

How do I prepare?

We have several resources available to help you prepare for your week at camp!

FAQs

In addition to the more classic open programs (like open swim, boating, nature, shooting, or handicraft), we also offer a wide selection of activities such as:

  • Horsemanship Trail Rides
  • Open Merit Badges at Handicraft and Nature
  • Hiking on the Rainbow Trails
  • Skill-Based “Geronibadges”
  • Premiere Programs (such as Tie-Dye Tuesday, Muzzleloader Rifle Shooting, and more!)

There are no additional costs associated with any merit badge or afternoon open program, except for our horsemanship trail rides which cost $25 per rider. This includes project kits for handicraft and ammo for shooting sports.

In addition to our opening and closing campfires, we offer several full-camp evening programs such as our Cut-Throat Cookoff, the Mogollon bash, and more!

Camp Geronimo has a large selection of campsites outfitted with platform tents and Adirondacks. You can also rent a cot for $15 per week.
